1984:David is invited to participate in USA 51X, an exhibition featuring installations by Futura 2000, Judy Rifka and Rich Colicchio at 51X gallery on St. Marks Place. Each artist is given their own area in the gallery using USA as the theme. David creates “Installation #3” (the Reagan installation) featuring a portrait of Reagan on glass, newspapers, dollar bills, a plaster head, a motorized baby doll crawling over broken glass, an empty wine glass and a molotov cocktail created from a Night Train whiskey bottle with an image of The White House painted on its label.
