On New Year’s day of 1986, David meets his future partner, Tom Rauffenbart, at the Bijou theater. He begins painting again and sells out his “Exploring the History of Collisions in Reverse” show at Gracie Mansion Gallery. He and Cinema of Transgression’s Tommy Turner create the film Where Evil Dwells using a Canon 8mm borrowed from Richard Kern. David shows his work in nineteen exhibitions around the world.
