David Wojnarowicz is born September 14, 1954. David endures an abusive childhood in New Jersey, Michigan and Long Island, largely in the custody of his volatile father. His pre-teen and teenaged years are spent alternately living with his mother in New York City and finding himself homeless and hustling on the streets of Times Square. He barely graduates from high school at age 19.
