At the age of 28, David displays his first paintings—showing in 14 exhibits primarily in New York City’s East Village. His band, 3 Teens Kill 4 records its first and only album “No Motive.”

In the art world, the careers of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat are just taking off. Galleries like Civilian Warfare and Gracie Mansion open in the East Village.
