New York Mayor Ed Koch
April 20, 1983: New York mayor Ed Koch attends his first and only meeting with the New York AIDS Network. The group, a broadly-based coalition grew to include representatives from over sixty health, political, people with AIDS, scientific, legal, social services and religious groups.
