The New York Public Library’s holds one photograph by David Wojnarowicz: Arthur Rimbaud in New York (Times Square), 1978.

The NYPL’s collection also includes a flier for a memorial procession for David Wojnarowicz, who died of AIDS in 1992, created by the New York chapter of the activist organization ACT-UP, and issues of East Village Eye magazine featuring the artist and his work.

The New York Public Library has been an essential provider of free books, information, ideas, and education for all New Yorkers for more than 125 years.
