Hall Art Foundation

The Hall Art Foundation collection includes five of David Wojnarowicz’s acrylic and collage works—paintings and sculptures.

The Foundation’s exhibition Landscapes After Ruskin: Redefining the Sublime, curated by Joel Sternfeld, featured some of these works at the Hall Art Foundation, in 2016, and at New York University’s Grey Art Gallery, in 2018.

The Foundation operates two museum spaces: Kunstmuseum Schloss Derneburg, in the centuries-old home of artist Georg Baselitz, near Hannover, in Germany, and the Hall Art Foundation, on a former dairy farm in Reading, Vermont. The Foundation also has an exhibition partnership with the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and collaborates with other institutions worldwide.
