Cleveland Museum of Art

The Cleveland Museum of Art’s collection includes an edition of David Wojnarowicz’s Untitled (One Day This Kid), 1990–91.

Cleveland Museum curators write: “Created shortly after David Wojnarowicz was diagnosed as HIV positive, this print was meant to not only communicate but also universalize his outrage—one that he felt was shared by anyone who had been similarly oppressed due to their identity. This print… featur[es] his childhood portrait alongside text describing the prejudice, trauma, and abuse that he would encounter as an adult due to his queer identity.”

This 2018 edition includes prints in ten languages: English, French, Turkish, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, German, Polish and Arabic.
