September 17 1987: Opens The Four Elements Show

September 17, 1987: David exhibits “The Four Elements” paintings at Gracie Mansion Gallery. Peter Hujar is able to see the show. There is little interest in his work but all four paintings are now in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
